ESCANABA - A handful of Upper Peninsula athletes were recently named to the Associated Press All-State tennis team.
At singles, Codi Jenshak of Escanaba, Kylee Erickson of West Iron County, Sarah Massie of Westwood and Samantha Fleming of Kingsford were honored. Jenshak and Erickson each won U.P. finals titles at No. 1 singles in their respective divisions. The two had three competitve matchups this season with Erickson taking two of three. They were selected co-players of the year last month.
At doubles, Braedyn Bosilovatz and Cathryn Wood of Escanaba and Kara Harrington and Alexis Forchini of Westwood were selected. Both flights won titles at the U.P. Finals.
