Wood appears in university musical
APPLETON, Wis. - Tory Wood, daughter of Brian and D. Ann Wood of Escanaba, appeared in four recent performances of Lawrence University's production of the Tony Award-winning musical "The Drowsy Chaperone." The musical parodies Broadway conventions with a show-within-a-show, which tells the story of one couple's farcical wedding day.
A senior at Lawrence, Wood portrayed Mrs. Tottendale, an elderly hostess.
She is a 2009 graduate of Escanaba Area Public High School.
