ESCANABA - Escanaba Public Safety responded to an accident involving a logging truck and a pickup truck at 2:24 p.m. Friday afternoon near Meier Signs along North Lincoln Road. No injuries were reported.

Terry Steinmetz, of Escanaba, was the driver of the Toyota pickup truck involved in the accident and said both he and the logging truck were traveling southbound along Lincoln Road.

"The truck was all over the road," said Steinmetz, who noted that prior to the accident, he pulled into a parking lot and tried slowing and waving the driver down.
