BARK RIVER - Shirley Adydan, 81, N19155 Swede Road, No. 4875, Bark River (Perronville), passed away late Sunday evening, Nov. 4, 2012, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers.
She was born on Nov. 18, 1930, in Pound, Wis., the daughter of Alex and Sophie (Roubel) Lojeski. Shirley graduated from Bark River Harris High School in 1949.
Shirley A. Lojeski married J. Steve Adydan on June 24, 1950, at St. Francis Xavier Church in Spalding.
She was employed at Robinson's Furniture for 25 years, retiring in 1995.
She enjoyed being with her grandchildren, gardening flowers and vegetables and reading.
Shirley was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where she was a CCD teacher, Eucharistic Minister and a member of the church choir. She was also involved with the school P.T.O.
Among survivors include her son, Steven D. Adydan of Perronville; daughter, Janine (Mike) Murray of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich.; grandchildren, Steven Adydan, Reanne Adydan and Alexander Murray; and great-grandchildren, Preston and Dominic.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Nov. 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church with the funeral Mass to follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Darryl Pepin officiating. A luncheon will follow the funeral Mass in the church hall.
Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery in Perronville.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Adydan family with arrangements.
