Dianna M. LaBonte

SPALDING - Dianna M. LaBonte, 72, Spalding, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012, at her home in Spalding. She was born on Jan. 16, 1940, in Escanaba, the daughter of the late Chester and Thelma (Erickson) McGuire.

On July 11, 1959, she married Stephen James LaBonte at St. Joseph's Parish in Escanaba.

Dianna worked as a laundry aide at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church and the St. Anne's Society. Dianna enjoyed spending time with her six children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen LaBonte of Spalding; two sons, Stephen (Michelle) LaBonte of Wilson and Ronald LaBonte of Powers; four daughters, Tammy (Rick) LaBonte of Iron Mountain, Lori (John) Dault of Escanaba, Becky (Tom) Dombrowski of Powers and Donna (Joe) Dombrowski of Powers; grandchildren, Eric (Summer) Bryant, Justin, Jacklyn, Tye, Ethan, Dylan, Breanna, Natalie, Brent and Zoe; great-grandchildren, Kimberly, Allison and Noah; brothers and sisters, Roy (Bonnie) McGuire, Mary (Robert) Bauer, Ethel (Lemrod) LaBonte, Chester (Willie) McGuire, Richard (Donna) McGuire and Linda (Richard) Lantagne; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Dianna was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, John McGuire; and one sister, Margaret Casperson.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. (CST) on Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding with the St. Anne's Rosary at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. (CST) on Friday, Nov. 9, at St. John Neumann Church with Fr. Michael Vichich officiating. Burial will follow Mass in the Spalding Township Cemetery. A luncheon will be held in the church parish hall.
