ESCANABA - Kurt Michael Dubord and Abby Novia Boudreau exchanged wedding vows on July 28 during a 1 p.m. ceremony held at New Life Assembly of God Church in Escanaba. The nuptials were celebrated by Rev. Jason Janich.
Following the ceremony, a reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the Bark River Senior Center.
The bride selected her sister, Sarah Boudreau, to serve as her maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Wery, Brittany Bourdeau, Jamie Hansen, and Lisa Helgemo, all friends of the bride, as well as Jeni Sovey and Trisha Izzard, both sisters of the groom.

Logan Poupore, a friend of the groom, stood as best man. Groomsmen were Nick Hess, Bill Marklein, Scott Jensen, Todd Kiraly, all friends of the groom, and Andy Sovey and Justin Izzard, both brothers-in-law of the groom.
Seating the wedding guests were Mason Boudreau, brother of the bride, and Erik Unti, Doug Krusic, and Josh Cederna, all friends of the groom. Halle Kuehl served as flower girl.
The daughter of Pete and Irma Boudreau of Escanaba, Abby is employed as a rural mail carrier for USPS in Rapid River and also works at Staples in Escanaba.
Kurt is the son of Dennis and Diane Dubord of Bark River. He is a CAD engineer at Messersmith Manufacturing Inc.
Following a honeymoon trip to Marco Island, Fla., the new Mr. and Mrs Dubord are making their home in Escanaba.
