Skippy and Dave were the focus of a new anti-bully program held at St. Francis de Sales Catholic School in Manistique. The program is geared for youngsters in PreK-3 through fourth-grade. Skippy and Dave illustrated successful ways for the children to understand each other's feelings and relate to one another. Anti-bullying behavior and solutions were explored as Skippy and Dave dialoged and sang songs of positive reinforcement to familiar tunes. Tolerance and appropriate behavior were taught and positivity was stressed in this timely assembly. The presenter, Dave Parker, is a professional ventriloquist who resides in Marquette.
