MARQUETTE - Gov. Rick Snyder will be in the Upper Peninsula to host a town hall meeting Tuesday, Oct. 30, at 8:15 a.m.
While the Governor will be physically present on the campus of Northern Michigan University in Marquette, the Governor's office is partnering with NMU to host live/interactive satellite town hall locations to provide greater opportunity for U.P. residents to participate and receive answers to their questions from Gov. Snyder.
The Escanaba location is room 525 at Bay College, this is located near Cafe Bay. Question and answer facilitator will be State Rep. Ed McBroom.
The Governor's U.P. stop is one of several he is making as part of a statewide bus tour designed to engage dialogue on six statewide ballot proposals that will appear on the Michigan ballot for the upcoming General Election on Nov. 6. Snyder's town hall will reach Marquette, Escanaba, Iron Mountain, and Hancock.
