ESCANABA - Mary F. Robertson, 89, passed away peacefully Friday morning, Oct. 26, 2012, at the Christian Park Health Care Facility in Escanaba.
Mary was born Oct. 6, 1923, in Max, Minn., the daughter of Fredrick and Norma (Rosbrook) Cooper. She was raised in Rochester, Mich., where she attended the Rochester School System.
In 1945, Mary was united in marriage to Edward Bell and together the couple had one son, Tim Bell. Edward preceded Mary in death. In August of 1974, Mary was joined in marriage to Paul Robertson who also preceded her in death.

Throughout her life, Mary worked primarily as a homemaker. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time in the outdoors. In addition, Mary loved gardening, cooking and painting. She will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her son, Tim Bell of Rapid River; stepson, Hugh Robertson of Spring Lake, Mich.; stepdaughter, Linda Cramblet of Fruitport, Mich.; sister, Thelma Renshaw of Rochester, Mich. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Fredrick and Norma; husbands, Edward Bell and Paul Robertson; brothers, Harry, Kenneth, Edwin and Fred.
Mary's family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Mary F. Robertson will follow visiting hours, at 5 p.m., at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone, with Rev. William Rafuse of the Rapid River Congregational Church officiating.
The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting Mary's family with arrangements.
