Local communities are gearing up for Halloween with a variety of spooktacular events scheduled for today through Halloween. The schedule of events is as follows:
Friday, Oct. 26
Powers/Hermansville - Carnival at Hermansville Community Club from 5-7 p.m.
Escanaba - All Saints Festival at Holy Name Catholic School from 6-8 p.m. Game bracelets are $5 or $4 with a canned food donation. For more information on this event, please call the school at 786-7550.; Delta County Jaycees Tunnel of Terror Haunted House in the basement of Ernie's Irish Pub from 7-9 p.m. Ages 18 and up from 7-9 p.m. and adults over 21 only from 9-10 p.m. Admission is $5
Garden - Carnival at Big Bay de Noc School cafeteria from 6-8 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 27
Bark River - Trick-or-Treat from 2-4 p.m.; Carnival from 4-6 p.m.
Escanaba - Delta County Jaycees Tunnel of Terror Haunted House in the basement of Ernie's Irish Pub. Ages 5 and up from 1-3 p.m., 18 and up from 7-9 p.m., and adults over 21 only from 9-10 p.m. Admission is $5 per adult and $3 per child.
Rapid River - Haunted House at Rapid River School from 6-11 p.m. Admission is $4.
Manistique - Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse Halloween "Spooktacular" from 7-11 p.m. Admission is $4 per adult and $1 for ages 16 and below.

Gladstone - Trick-or-Treat from 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Escanaba - Trick-or-Treat from 5-7 p.m.
Rapid River - Trick-or-Treat from 4-6 p.m.; Carnival for grades K-5 from 6-8 p.m. at Rapid River School. Wristbands are $5.
Rock-Perkins - Trick-or-Treat from 4-6 p.m.
Manistique - Trick-or-Treat from 5-7 p.m.
Hermansville/Powers - Trick-or-Treat from 4-6 p.m.
Garden - Trick-or-Treat from 4-6 p.m.
