Manistique RSVP volunteers honored at luncheon

MANISTIQUE - The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) members were honored in mid-September with a luncheon and festivities held at the Comfort Inn in Manistique. Theresa Nelson, RSVP Director, served as mistress of ceremony.

Presentations were provided by: Amy Berglund, Regional Representative for U.S. Senator Carl Levin; Jeremy Hoskings, Regional Manager for U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow; and Jim Caszatt, Representative for State Senator Tom Casperson.

Nelson awarded a 50-Hour Pin to Eleanor Russey. RSVP volunteers not in attendance were Gloria Haindl, Connie Trick and Susan Vaniman.

A Certificate of 300 plus hours was presented to Donnalea Phinney (317).

This event was funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service and Office of Services to the Aging.
