MENOMINEE - Evelyn M. Freele, 76, of Menominee, passed away peacefully on Monday evening, Oct. 22, 2012, at the Harbors Retirement Community. She was born May 6, 1936, in Menominee to Walter and Florence (Vickman) Biehl.
She graduated from the Holy Family School of Nursing in 1957.
Evelyn is survived by son, Charles (Mary) of M-35, Menominee; daughter, Vicki Anderson (fianc, Doug Palubicki) of Menominee; son, James (Richell) of Rio Rancho, N.M.; her divorced husband, William Freele; six grandchildren, Shawna Pettey, Katie Larson, Michelle Larson, Chelsea, Amanda and Nicole Freele; and one great-granddaughter, Kloe Larson. She is further survived by brother, Frank (Clara) Biehl of Menomonee Falls, Wis.; sister, Carol Anderson of Marinette; brothers, Harold (Gilda) Biehl of Menominee, John (Sally) Biehl of Porterfield and Walter (Mary) Biehl of Walsh. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Florence Biehl; and a brother, Dennis Biehl.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. (CDT) on Thursday, Oct. 25, in Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home, Marinette.
Burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery.
