ESCANABA - An Escanaba woman remains lodged in jail following her arrest for felonious assault stemming from a domestic incident in Escanaba this past weekend.
Kristin Jean Tuer, 43, of 1315 1st Ave. N., Escanaba, was arrested early Sunday after she allegedly threatened a 38-year-old male with a gun, according to Escanaba Public Safety. Police were dispatched to the residence at 3:19 a.m.
During her arraignment Monday in Delta County District Court, Tuer was officially charged with felonious assault, a four-year felony with a maximum fine of $2,000. She was also charged with possession of a firearm while under the influence, a 93-day misdemeanor with a maximum fine of $500.
Tuer's bond was set at $2,500 cash.
