ESCANABA - The sheriff's department is asking for the public's help in identifying a vehicle that recently drove into a railroad crossing light and left the scene of the accident in Hyde.
A black Chevy Z71 pickup truck was seen leaving a property damage accident at a railroad crossing near I Road and U.S. 2 at 1 p.m. Friday, according to Delta County Sheriff Department.
The truck allegedly struck the crossing light then backed into a cable box, said deputies, adding the vehicle would have damage to its front end.
