Harley Wunder shows off this large kohlrabi that he grew in his garden in Ford River. According to Wunder, kohlrabi generally grow to be about the size of a rutabaga so he was quite surprised when this one grew to be so large. He planted a batch of the vegetable from starter plants and many of them grew to be larger than normal. The deer in his area will be pleased because he intends to use the plant for deer feed because "when they get too big, they get woody," he said.
