Event helps out United Way

October 20, 2012
Daily Press

This week's bouquets go to:

From the United Way of Delta County:

We would like to send a big bouquet to everyone who came out for UPtoberfest despite the rainy weather. Special thanks to event coordinator Josh Marenger, the Bay de Noc Brewers and the many volunteers for putting on a quality event to benefit the United Way of Delta County. It gets better and better each year.

From the Dault and Fazer families:

"Kudos to Dan Duncan and the Rapid River American Legion for their program, "Veteran of the Month." The month of October they honored the late John D. Dault and Clarence H. Fazer. Thirteen family members attended the inspiring program at the club house on Oct. 2. Thank you to all the club members."

---

Each Saturday the Daily Press salutes individuals and groups from our area who have had a very positive impact on the way we live.

We identify our bouquet recipients in one of two ways: from Daily Press news pages and from nominations sent in by our readers.

Mail us a postcard or letter identifying your nomination and putting into detail what they've done. Include your name, address, and phone number. Send nominations to Saturday Bouquets, The Daily Press, 600 Ludington Street, Escanaba, MI 49829.

They may also be sent to us by going to our Web site, www.dailypress.net, and clicking on the submit news button. Once there, click on "Bouquets" and follow the simple instructions.
