Cub Scouts go the distance at 'Olympics'

October 17, 2012
Daily Press
The Monday night meeting of Cub Scout Pack 414 of Escanaba was a busy one as the Scouts took part in their Cub Olympics. The “Olympics” took place at Holy Name School and included five events: balance beam, standing long jump, sit-ups, softball throw, and a 50-yard dash. Above, Derek Douglas, a Scout from the Webelo I den, sprints to the finish of the 50-yard dash. (Daily Press photo by Holly Richer)
