Lee C. Zimmerman

CARNEY - Lee C. Zimmerman, 83, of Carney, passed away on Monday, Oct. 15, 2012, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. Lee was born on Jan. 17, 1929, in Kewaunee, Wis., to the late Paul and Hildagard (Schwantes) Zimmerman.

On March 20, 1976, Lee married the former Lorraine Wotruba in Daggett. Lorraine preceded him in death on July 5, 2012.

Lee worked as a truck driver for Clairmont for over 30 years. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and traveling on hunting and fishing trips.

Survivors include three sons, Lee F. (Judy) and Jim (Yvonne) both of Daggett, and Jack of Iron Mountain; stepchildren, Pat (Arlene) Wotruba of Nadeau, Judy Wotruba of Green Bay, Wis., Tom (Debbie) Wotruba of Carney, Sandy (Bruce) Szapa of Carney, Ann (Steve) Nantelle of Marion, Wis., Bill (Margaret) Wotruba of White Fish Bay, Wis. and Tina (Jim) Schetter of Carney; 29 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Charlotte Harris of Ford River.

Lee was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Wade Zimmerman; grandson, Cris Zimmerman; granddaughter, Lisa Schetter; and brother, Glen Zimmerman.

Family and friends may call at Anderson Diehm Funeral Home on Thursday Oct. 18, after 4 p.m. (CDT) until time of Prayer Service at 7 p.m. (CDT).

Visitation will continue on Friday, Oct. 19, at St. Bruno Catholic Church in Nadeau from 9 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Father Corey Litzner officiating.

Burial will be in Nadeau Township Cemetery.
