ESCANABA - Lee Richard "Dick" Wiles, 81, of Escanaba, passed away Friday afternoon, Oct. 5, 2012, at the Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers following a lengthy illness.
Lee was born Dec. 11, 1930, in Buffalo, N.Y. the son of Lee Alva and Catherine R. (Cushing) Wiles. Lee served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.
Lee founded Lee's Studio in Escanaba and he was a longtime businessman in Escanaba.

Survivors include his sons, Jon Wiles, Randy (Tammy) Wiles, Bill (Tammy) Wiles and Matt (Michele) Wiles; grandchildren, Braden, Brionne, Justine, Jacob, Grace, Lauren and Zachary and Caden; brother, Jerry (Karen) Wiles; niece, Rhonda; nephews, James, Jay and Justin.
In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by his brother, Howard; and sister, Mary Beth.
Lee's family will receive friends on Tuesday, Oct. 16, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Skradski Family Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Lee "Dick" Wiles will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Fr. Rick Courier of the St. Anthony/St. Thomas Catholic Church officiating.
Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Escanaba.
