ESCANABA - Alma Boggs became the bride of Rev. Joseph Earl Hilton Jr. on March 10 during a 2 p.m. wedding ceremony that took place at Agape Ministry in Escanaba. Rev. Art Kievit officiated at the ceremony.
A reception in honor of the newlyweds was held at the VFW in Escanaba.
Ann Bennett, sister-in-law of the bride, served as maid of honor. John Bennett, brother of the bride, stood as best man.

Flower girl was Laci Gagon, and ring bearer was Drew Wery. Both are friends of the bride and groom. The bride was escorted down the by aisle by her nephews, Jameson and Chris Bennett.
Alma is the daughter of the late Phyllis and Fred Lueneburg, and Jack Bennett of Escanaba and Long Beach, Calif. She graduated from Escanaba High School in 1975.
Joseph is the son of the late Joseph Earl Hilton Sr. and Florence Hilton of Palmento, Fla. He graduated from Palmento High School in 1965 and from Notre Dame in 1967 with an associate's degree in engineering. He graduated from Progressive Bible College with a master's degree in ministry in 2004.
A special song was preformed by Winnie Lake accompanied on the piano by Martha Hooper.
The couple are making their home in Escanaba.
