Youth Assistance Program (YAP) recently received a donation from Wheat's Bar from their recent fishing tournament. Nancy DeGrand, YAP Board member/volunteer (center) accepts two checks totaling $500 from Ken Lueneburg (left) and Barb Tolman, both representing the fishing tournament organizers. The Youth Assistance Program is an all volunteer organization which strives to raise funds in order to distribute grants and provide activities for needy school age children in Delta County, thereby helping to provide for their emotional as well as their physical well being. Yap relies on the generosity of the community in making donations of money, goods, time and resources to their organization. Wheat's has consistently remembered YAP in their donations each year.
