BRASSICK - Wilson residents, Douglas and Michelle Brassick, welcomed their first child at OSF St. Francis Hospital on Sept. 7 at 6:26 p.m. Their newborn daughter, Kaylee Marie, weighed 9 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long at birth.
The mother is the former Michelle Jorasz.
Kaylee's maternal grandparents are Alex Jorasz of Wilson and Margaret Jorasz of Bark River. Her paternal grandparents are Doug Brassick of Bark River and Julie Brown of St. Jacques.
EIS - Michael and Jamie Eis of Summersville, W.Va. welcomed a son, born at Women and Children's Hospital in Charleston on Aug. 17 at 11:05 a.m. William Ethan weighed 9 pounds and was 20.75 inches long.
The baby was welcomed home by his sister, Kaylee.
Randy Eis and Monica Zender of Escanaba, and Doug and Barb Lesher of Reedy, W.Va., are the grandparents.
William's great-grandparents are Pat Leask of Escanaba, Opal Groves of Spencer, W.Va., and Helen Lesher of Elkview, W.Va.
GUSTAFSON - On Sept. 30, Rapid River residents, Eric and Ashley (Potier) Gustafson, welcomed a newborn son, Axel Eugene. He was delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital at 5:07 p.m. weighing in at 7 pounds, 2 ounces, and was 18.5 inches long.
Axel joins brother, Andrew A. Potier, at home.
The baby's maternal grandparents are Alan Potier of Rapid River and Sandy Willis of Gladstone. Paternal grandparents are Robert Gustafson of Perkins and Debbie Gustafson of Stonington.
Melvin and Jo Ann Gustafson of Perkins, and Robert and Mary Jane Olson of Stonington are Baby Axel's great-grandparents.
GARDNER - Escanaba residents Thomas and Angela (Wangrud) Gardner welcomed a baby boy, their second son, born at Marquette General Hospital on Aug. 29 at 5:53 p.m. Ryan Allen weighed 8 pounds, 1 ounce, and was 20 inches long.
Ryan joins sister Marissa and brother Brandon at home.
Alan and Elizabeth Depuydt of Perkins, Nolan and Jean Wangrud of Gladstone, and Shirley and Robert Gardner of Cornell are Ryan's grandparents.
The baby's great-grandmother is Doris Thiry of Escanaba.
