From my perspective as an active voter who is committed to what is best for the Upper Peninsula and Delta County it is without question that I want experienced, well educated and community minded candidates.
As voters head for the polls this November to cast their vote for Delta County treasurer I would urge you to vote for the candidate who possesses all of these qualities Mr. Tom Sabor. If you look carefully at his experience from 1984 to the present he has had an impeccable career as an auditor, accountant, Class A School District business manager, college vice president of administrative services and presently the current Delta County treasurer.
Tom graduated from Bay de Noc Community College in 1975 then went on to Northern Michigan University attaining a bachelor of science degree in office administration in 1977, another bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1985 and finishing in 1997 with a master's of education in administration.
Above and beyond his exceptional educational background he has also been involved in continuing education workshops and seminars to maintain an acute understanding and knowledge base of county, state, and federal rules and regulations.
In reference to his commitment to Delta County his involvement as the president of the finance committee at St. Thomas Church, first vice president of the Escanaba Lions Club, board member of the YMCA, Eskymo Fan Club member and past member of the Escanaba Noon Kiwanis Club truly gives you a sense of his commitment to his community.
If this isn't enough I would tell you that based on my association with Tom from 1978 to the present I have the utmost respect and confidence in his professional abilities, values, and work ethic to do an outstanding job as Treasurer for Delta County.
