PERKINS - Matching up with Lexi Gussert and the Forest Park Trojans is a difficult task for most volleyball teams.

That's the problem the Mid Peninsula Wolverines faced Monday night, dropping a 25-13, 25-20, 25-9 Skyline Conference decision.

"She (Gussert) doesn't make a lot of mistakes," said Mid Pen coach Traci Lyle. "She's fun to watch, but not to play against. She doesn't miss a lot, plus Forest Park is a real solid team.

Mid Pen's Krysta VanDamme had four kills and a block and Kelsie Nummilien recorded nine digs.

The Wolverines, who also dropped the jayvee match 25-5, 25-10, resume at North Dickinson Oct. 9.
