GREEN BAY - Carla Ann Coyne, 47, formerly of Escanaba, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012, at her home in Green Bay, Wis., following a lengthy illness. She was born May 23, 1965 in Escanaba, Mich., and was the daughter of Patrick and Nancy (Kjellgren) Coyne. Carla graduated from Escanaba High School in 1983 and Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Mich., in 1988. She was also certified as a paralegal in Wisconsin.
Carla was previously employed at Humana Insurance Company and several adult group homes in Green Bay, along with operating her own paralegal service. Throughout college and her career, Carla has always helped with handicap adults.
Carla Ann Coyne is survived by: sister, Cindy Coyne of Green Bay, Wis.; brothers, Greg Coyne (Annette Nolde) of Gladstone, Mich., Mark Coyne (Peggy Mortl) of Gladstone, Jeff Coyne of Escanaba; sister-in-law, Jane (Scott) Coyne Smith of Gladstone; nieces, Rachel and Kelly Coyne, Mallorie Anderson; nephews, Jonathan, Myles, Michael, and Sam Coyne; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Carla is also survived by special friend John Cordova, Green Bay, Wis.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Doug "Lumpy" Coyne.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Carla Ann Coyne will be held at 5 p.m. Friday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Harmon officiating. A reception will be held following the funeral service at the Elks Lodge in Escanaba. Memorials can be directed to the Golden House Women's Shelter in Green Bay, Wis.
