Joan Boucher recently donated $1,000 to the U.P. Honor Flight in memory of her late husband, Don Boucher. Don was one of the World War II veterans who was on the Inaugural Flight in September 2011. She is pictured with Honor Flight coordinator, Barb Van Rooy. Joan, who is holding her husband's picture, stated, "Don enjoyed the trip so much and I know he would be very pleased to help other veterans to be able to have this experience." The third Honor Flight carrying veterans of World War II and their guardians returned last night from the trip to Washington, D.C., where the veterans had the opportunity to view the memorial that was built in their honor.
