ESCANABA - Kelly E. Cole, 54, Escanaba, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2012, at the Iron County Medical Care Facility in Crystal Falls.
Kelly was born on April 5, 1958, in Escanaba, the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Rogers) Cole.
Kelly attended St. Patrick's Grade School and graduated from Escanaba High School in 1976.

Kelly loved animals, particularly dogs, including her own, Punkin and Doris. She loved reading and living in the U.P. near the water.
She was employed in food service for many years working at the Village Inn, Elmer's Deli, Buck Inn, Christian Park kitchen and Marco's Restaurant. She was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Escanaba.
Among her survivors include her father, Charles of Escanaba; three sisters, Windy (Roger) Good and Maureen (Jim) Rogers of Escanaba and Connie (Mark) Ratzmann of Cudahy, Wis.; three brothers, David Cole of Marquette, Tony (Dana) Cole of Menominee, Mich., and Charles "Chip" (Beth Jennings) of Green Bay; 20 nieces and nephews and eight great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Matthew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27, at Our Savior Lutheran Church from 4 to 6 p.m. with services to follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Al Schubert officiating.
A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the Delta County Animal Shelter or the Diabetes Association. Envelopes will be available at the church.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Cole family.
