The first Polfus Field Wiffle Ball Tournament was held in early August in Hermansville at the Polfus residence. Six teams were entered with players competing from Hermansville, Powers, Norway, Vulcan, North Dickinson area, Escanaba, Bark River, Gladstone and Rapid River. Awards were given to the first team, The Bad News, and second place team, The Phenom. Home Run Derby winner was Bobby Kleiman.
