BLAHNIK - Buddy and Amy Blahnik of Escanaba welcomed a son, Dean Thomas, delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital on Aug. 17 at 6:03 a.m. Dean weighed 8 pounds, 9.6 ounces, and was 20.5 inches long.
He joins brother, Connor John, at home.
Dean's maternal grandparents are Cindy and Larry Johnson of Gladstone. Paternal grandparents are Tom Blahnik and Susie and Tom Ross of Escanaba.
Bertha Johnson of Rock, Eileen Demeuse of Gladstone and Richard Blahnik of Wells are the great-grandparents.
NASER - Nevin and April (Carlson) Naser of Escanaba are the parents of a newborn son, Sawyer David, who was delivered at OSF St. Francis Hospital. The infant weighed 7 pounds, 1 ounce when he was born at 8:37 a.m. on Aug. 3. He measured 18.5 inches in length.
Sawyer joins two brothers, Clay and Landon, at home.
His maternal grandmother is Patty Carlson of Escanaba. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Cindi Naser of Powers and Ralph and Patty Lorenzoni of Carney.
Great-grandparents are Jim and Jean Dubord of Escanaba and Andy and Rita Anderson of Two Rivers, Wis.
LIBERMAN - Scott and Katherine Liberman of Highland Park, Ill., announce the birth of their first child, a daughter, Sydney Jeanne, on Aug. 28 at 3:43 a.m. She weighed 8 pounds, 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long at birth.
The baby's mother is the former Katherine Moberg.
Sydney's grandparents are Jim and Elizabeth Moberg of Escanaba and Dave and Andee Liberman of West Bloomfield Hills.
Her great-grandparents are Don and Bernice Fehrenbach of Escanaba and Belle Liberman of Farmington Hills.
PASCOE - Allouez, Wis., residents, Josh and Krista (Berbohm) Pascoe, welcomed their second child, a baby boy on Aug. 24 at 12:12 p.m. at Aurora Baycare in Green Bay. Declan Robert weighed in at 7 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 21.5 inches long.
Declan joins big sister, Josie, at home.
Bob and Karen Berbohm and Tom and Joan Pascoe, all of Escanaba, are Declan's grandparents.
Great-grandparents are Dwaine Berbohm, Lester "Moe" and Helen Ness, Joe Berube, and James and Shirley Pascoe, all of Escanaba.
SANPAKA - Bentley Jamal Sanpaka, newborn son of Jodi Sanpaka of Menasha, Wis., and Cory Butts of Appleton, Wis., was born July 23 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton, Wis. Bentley weighed 8 pounds, 5 ounces, and was 21.75 inches long.
The grandparents are Martin and Yvette Sanpaka of Menasha, Tracy Helman of Rapid River, Danny Helman of Gladstone, and Londa Thomas of Chicago, Ill.
Great-grandparents are David and Karen Sanpaka of Escanaba, and Jim and Robin Phillips of Rapid River.
