EDITOR:
Two young college people are very lucky to be alive today. Wednesday evening about 9:30, while picking up speed to 55, two young people ran across the highway by the Citgo station.
The car to my right was moving into my lane and I did not even see those young people until they were right along my left bumper. The lighting isn't very good in that area, but that is no excuse for darting across the highway. Your parents are very lucky - as is everyone involved.
