Thank God for Tim Tebow! In a professional sports world of pathetic self-promotion, greed, and overpaid immature babies, it's refreshing to find a real man and authentic Christian.
Regardless of whether Tim ever scores another touchdown, his impact has been felt on the "real world," especially children, with simple humble gestures of thanks for gifts and blessings in his life.
Those suffering in war, poverty, homelessness, or from crime are not saved by a Packer, Lion, or Jets scores; they are, however, given hope by the faith Tim promotes. I cringe when he is mocked for "Tebowing," while ESPN and hot-air blathering writers laud the idiocy of T.O., Ochocinco, and others, but then remind myself of another good, simple man who walked among us centuries ago who was ridiculed and crucified for his faith. Too bad we haven't learned.
