GLADSTONE - The Iron Mountain Mountaineers dealt a lesson to the Gladstone Braves on the tennis courts Tuesday, rolling to a 7-1 victory. The Mountaineers swept singles and only dropped three of 17 sets.
"Iron Mountain has a solid line-up. Their girls spend the summer in the Kingsford program> We did not play well and made their job easier," said Braves coach Rich Trombly.
Gladstone's lone win came at No. 3 doubles where Paige Schwartz and Anna Caramella swiftly defeated Alyssa Hood and Caity Tefft 6-1, 6-2.
