GLADSTONE - Lucille Elinor Larson, 76, passed away Monday, Aug. 20, at home in Gladstone with her loving family by her side following a brief battle with cancer.
Lucille was born June 30, 1936, in Bruce, Wis., the daughter of Irvin and Margaret (Keasling) Ewald. She graduated from Rice Lake High School in Wisconsin, class of 1955.
She married Roger "Jerry" Larson in Janesville, Wis., on Nov. 19, 1957, and they moved to Gladstone, Mich., in 1964.

Lucille enjoyed sewing, bingo, traveling, and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Aside from her loving husband, Roger, Lucille is survived by her three daughters, Karen (Bill) Yardley of Pecks, Kan., Sue and Jim Robitaille, and Nancy and Dave Dillabough, all of Escanaba; two sisters, Caroline Amundson of Cameron, Wis., and Edith Demers of Rice Lake, Wis.; sister-in-law, Lana Ewald of Rice Lake, Wis.; seven grandchildren, Amanda (Jeremy) Ouellette, Justin (Katie) Godfrey, Jason, Nathan, and Nicole Robitaille, Ruth and Randy Dillabough; 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Don and John Ewald; sister, Mary Orsund.
Lucille's family will receive friends on Friday, Aug. 24, at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone from 1 to 3 p.m. Funeral services celebrating the life of Lucille E. Larson will follow at 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home with Rev. Marg H. Host of the First United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will take place at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron, Wis.
