A boost for the Honor Flights

Jim Crawford of Crawford Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Bark River presents a check for $1,000 to the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight volunteers, Sally Guay, center, and Sue Beranek. Mission III is scheduled to take U.P. veterans of World War II to see the memorial built in their honor in Washington, D.C. on Thursday, Sept. 27, and Crawford is planning to be a guardian on the flight.
