Cool, windy weather couldn’t keep “olympians” from having fun during the “Beach Olympics” at the Escanaba Municipal Beach Friday. The event was a celebration of the end of the City of Escanaba’s Learn to Swim at the Municipal Beach program which started in July. Above, students and instructors play a game of tug-of-war with the threat of a dip in a water-filled hole looming ahead.
