I have lived across the street from the municipal park for many, many years. From my kitchen window I could always observe many sprinklers running to keep the grass nice and green to accent the beautiful flowers the Altrusa Club provides.
What a pity to see nothing but burned grass now. We have a bay full of great quantities of water to keep the park nice and green for this beautiful million dollar park.
Couldn't the city pump water out of the bay?
Needless to say, most of our lawns are brown, but we have to pay the city for our water.
