WELLS - Police are continuing their search for a suspect involved in an armed robbery that occurred Friday night in Wells.
According to Delta County Sheriff Gary Ballweg, deputies responded to an armed robbery in progress at approximately 10:05 p.m. Friday at the Grain 'N' Grape Convenience Store in Wells.
The store clerk said the suspect, who entered the store wearing a ski mask and carrying a pistol, demanded money and fled the store with the cash. Police are not releasing the amount of money stolen at this time.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet, 9 inches tall with a medium build.
