ROCKWALL, Texas - Steven James Cass, 51, of Rockwall, Texas, passed away July 29, 2012. He was born June 19, 1961, in Escanaba, to Charles William and Evelyn M. (Guindon) Cass.
Steven was an independent driver in the trucking industry. He enjoyed playing guitar and was a member of The Southern Crossroads Band and Lake Pointe Church.
Steven is survived by his wife, Susan Hall-Cass of Rockwall, Texas; daughter, Erica Cass; grandchildren, Brienne and Peyton Hall; stepdaughter, Ashley Hall; parents; brothers, Dan Cass and wife Joanne of Michigan, Gary Cass and wife Julie of Michigan, and Chuck Cass and wife Teresa of Kansas; sisters, Tina M. DeGrand of Michigan, and Tonya Y. Voetberg and husband Dan of Wisconsin; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Aug. 3, at Rest Haven Funeral Home Rockwall Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. The family will receive friends Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service from noon to 2 p.m.
