WILSON - Rex L. Burroughs, 61, N16302 Gorzinski Ln, Wilson, passed away early Friday morning, July 27, 2012, at his home. He was born on Oct. 20, 1950, in Hart, Mich., the son of Clinton and Helen (Mayberry) Burroughs.
On Jan. 6, 1984, Rex married Rhonda E. Jacobs in White Cloud, Mich.
He was self-employed as a mechanic. Rex was a great provider and will be greatly missed by all.
Rex was survived by his wife, Rhonda of Wilson; children, Darin Burroughs, Tonya (Warren) VanHorn, Chandra (Michael) Stratton, Alton "Taz" (Amanda) Burroughs, Ryan (John) Budge; siblings, Judith Lauber, Donnelda Genson and Mary Brimmer. He was also survived by five grandchildren, Falisha, Haley, Grace, Cameron and Brendon.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Chester A. Burroughs.
There will be a celebration of his life at the family residence on Saturday, Aug. 4 from 14 p.m. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Burroughs family.
