Young receives U of M masters' degree
ANN ARBOR - Daniel L. Young received his master's degree in Public Health Administration from the University of Michigan's highly acclaimed School of Public Health.
Dan is a 1996 honors graduate of Escanaba High School and a former history teacher at Lathrup High School in Southfield. Eight years ago, he was seriously injured in a winter sports accident, which resulted in his becoming paralyzed with no sensation below his mid-chest. As a C-6 quadriplegic, he has only partial use of his arms and very limited ability to use his hands.
Despite his injuries, he has persevered, and over the past two years has completed his studies for what many consider the most prestigious degree in public health administration in the nation.
Dan is the son of Daniel M. Young of Escanaba and Dianne (Rosenberger) Young of Milbrook.
