The Outreach Committee of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Escanaba recently approved the donation of $1,000 each to the Escanaba Salvation Army and the Alliance Against Violence and Abuse (AAVA). Immanuel pastor, Rev. Judy Kincaid presents a check to Salvation Army pastor, Captain Ralph Hanson. Over the past years, Immanuel has reached out to both of these community services by assisting with the meals program at the Salvation Army through leader, Barb Noblet and other Immanuel volunteer. Immanuel has also donated clothes, household needs, personal items and food, both to the Salvation Army and AAVA. The recent financial contribution is the first time Immanuel has used funds from an Investment Program established at the church.
