ESCANABA - Dorothy A. "Dot" Meyer, 85, of Escanaba died peacefully in her sleep at the family cottage on Lake Michigamme Sunday, July 15, 2012. She was born Jan. 3, 1927, in Green Bay, Wis., just one day before her loving husband of 62 years, Bob Meyer. She and Bob spent 20 summers managing Presbytery Point Church Camp and continued to support the camp as volunteers. She was also an active member of the Delta County Historical Society, the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library and the Audubon Society.
