MORTON GROVE, Ill. - Lorraine "Sis" West (nee Haglund), 90, formerly of Gladstone, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2012, at her home in Morton Grove, Ill.
Lorraine was born Nov. 21, 1921, in Gladstone (one of six children), daughter of Lloyd "Friday" and Hortense Haglund. She was united in marriage to Edward West.
Lorraine is survived by her son, David; two granddaughters, Michelle and Jessica; sister, Arlene (Rudy) Gasperich of Broadview, Ill.; two brothers, Harold "Guy" Haglund of Arizona and Glenn "Putt" (Phyllis) Haglund of Rapid River; sister-in-law, Melva Haglund of Flat Rock; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward West; daughter, Debra Heart; sister, Marie (Phillip) Rowland of Louisville, Ky.; and brother, Alden "Unk" Haglund of Flat Rock.
She was cremated and a memorial service will be held at her church in Glenview, Ill. on July 14
