LAS VEGAS, Nev. - Edward Joseph Caron, 77, formerly of Escanaba, passed away June 10, 2012, at his home after a courageous battle with cancer.
Edward was born on June 12, 1934, the son of Arthur and Vina Caron.
On Feb. 5, 1955, Edward J. Caron was united in holy matrimony to the former Elaine D. Heynssens at St. Joseph Church in Perkins.

He attended Escanaba Area High School.
He owned several businesses in Escanaba including Ed's Building Supply, E & M Enterprises, the House of Ludington and much real estate in the area.
Edward was an active member of the Catholic Church, Kiwanis, Optimist, Chamber of Commerce and other organizations.
He is survived by his wife, Elaine Dorothy Caron; two sons, Michael Caron and Todd (Maria) Caron; three brothers, Richard, Phillip, Wayne; sister, Dorothy; and two grandchildren, Alexis and Mitchell Caron.
He will be remembered for his quick wit and humor.
Preceding him in death are his parents; brothers, Arthur Caron; and sisters, Jeanette Felch, and Carol Possi.
