ESCANABA - Ethel Mary Louise Collegnon, 87, 1110 N. 18th St., Escanaba, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
She was born on Dec. 19, 1924, in Gladstone, daughter of George E. and Bertha M. (Martin) Rose. Ethel attended All Saints Grade School and graduated high school in Gladstone.
On Oct. 13, 1942, she married Edward J. Collegnon at All Saints Church in Gladstone.

She enjoyed playing bingo, rug making, crocheting and spending time at camp.
Survivors include her children, David (Carol) Collegnon of Escanaba, Gerald (Kathleen) Collegnon of Escanaba and Virginia "Ginny" (Mike) Ettenhofer of Gladstone; grandchildren, Pam (Tom) Pultz, Jeffry (Jennifer) Collegnon, Jason (Jennifer) Collegnon, John (Alicia) Collegnon, and Scott Ettenhofer; great-grandchildren, Brenna and Bryor Pultz, Lauren and Bryson Collegnon, Noah, Landon and Harper Collegnon, Casey and Cassandra Collegnon; brother, James Rose of Escanaba; and sister, Phyllis O'Donnell of Escanaba.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Collegnon; brothers, Martin and Richard Rose; sister, Marie Piazza; daughter-in-law, Helen Collegnon and grandchild, Kevin Collegnon.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 30 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home in Escanaba with the funeral to follow at 2 p.m.
Burial will be in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Name School or the Delta Animal Shelter. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Collegnon family.
