EDITOR:
I would like to address the person(s) who dropped off the tiny kittens on Blue Fox Lane this week. Please, please, think of the horrible things that happen to such little animals, whether they are run over by vehicles, eaten by predators, or drown in the swamp before starving. They cannot survive in the woods on their own.
The Delta Animal Shelter is there for just that reason: you can drop off your unwanted animals there so that they will care for them and attempt to find new homes for them.
Please have your animals spayed and neutered so that there are not future little animals who will suffer.
