RAPID RIVER - George Stone Anderson, 79, of Rapid River passed away Sunday, June 24, 2012, after a lengthy battle with cancer. His entire family was by his side.
Memorial services celebrating the life of George Anderson will be on Saturday, June 30 at 4 p.m. at the Congregational Church in Rapid River with Pastor Bill Rafuse officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church. A luncheon will be served following services in the church fellowship hall. Memorial contributions in George's name may be directed to the Delta County Animal Shelter, the Delta County Cancer Alliance or the Congregational Church in Rapid River.
