UW-Marinette degrees awarded
MARINETTE, Wis. - Associate of arts and science degrees and certificates of completion were conferred on 55 graduates at UW-Marinette's annual commencement ceremony held in mid-May. Students who completed degree requirements in fall of 2011, spring of 2012, and those who will complete requirements by the end of the summer participated in the ceremony.
Area students who were awarded degrees are:
DAGGETT - Brenda Ross;
MENOMINEE - Kelsey Champeau, Carl Falkenberg, Danielle Gerarden, Mariah Guay, Jennifer Schiavo, Brenda Tonkin-Rider, and James Graham;
NADEAU - Courtney Chenard-Powell.
UW-Stevens Point awards degrees
STEVENS POINT, Wis. - Three area residents are among the more 1,100 graduates who were conferred degrees at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point during the university's 2012 spring commencement ceremonies.
The graduates are:
GLADSTONE - Danielle D. Miron, master's degree in communicative disorders-speech and language pathology, and Kevin M. Thompson, bachelor's degree in natural science-life science (magna cum laude).
MENOMINEE - Laura J. Johnson, bachelor's degree in wildlife ecology-information and education.
Paul?Mitchell School announces grads
ESCANABA - The Paul Mitchell the School Escanaba held a graduation ceremony on May 29. The following graduates were recognized:
Lynnetta Simmons, Misha Hays, Haily Hatting, Jamie Tibbs, Peggy Swanson (graduating with Honors and Deans), Melissa Hansen, Heather Sarasin, Shana Seeley, Stefanie Lohrey, Jamia Brown, Meghan Racine, Billie Richter, Brittany Bourdeau and Victoria Wickman.
Co-owner Jim Salerno was in attendance along with staff and family members to congratulate the graduates.
