FORSYTH TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - Authorities conducting a drug raid in Michigan's Upper Peninsula found a 2-year-old girl at the site of a suspected marijuana growing operation.
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team and federal agents conducted Monday night's raid in Marquette County's Forsyth Township. A person with the girl who was suspected of illegally possessing a gun was detained and later released, pending the authorization of formal charges.
The Marquette County prosecutor's office was expected to handle the case. Several other agencies assisted, including child protective services.
