GREEN BAY, Wis. - Mason J. Thibeault, 60, Green Bay, died unexpectedly, Saturday, June 9, 2012, while on a camping trip. He was born March 16, 1952, in Escanaba, to Joe and Dolly (Johnson) Thibeault.
On Aug. 9, 1975, he married Christine "Tina' Mankiewicz in Perkins. She preceded him in death in 2003. They moved to Green Bay in 1980.
Mason was employed at C.A. Lawton Co., later LMG for over 30 years. He coached boys and girls soccer for many years. He was also a scout leader for many, many years, starting with Cub Scout Pack 4134 and later Boy Scout Troop 1134. He retired from Scouting in 2006 and received an award for over 20 years of tireless, dedication to scouting. Mason was a longtime member of St. Agnes Parish and served on the Parish Council. He was also involved in many of his children's activities at West High School and served on the West High Booster Club.

On March 14, 2009, he married Barbara (Jacobs) Woller.
Mason loved spending time outdoors, especially at his cabin in the U.P. But most important to Mason, was time spent with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara; three children and a daughter-in-law, Paul and Katie Thibeault, Trina Thibeault and her fianc, Casey VandenHeuvel, Adam Thibeault; three stepchildren, Ryan Woller and his special friend, Samantha Terrien, Amber Woller, Ashley Woller; a granddaughter, Emma; a brother, Jason Thibeault (his fiance, Cathy Kuchenberg) of Escanaba; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Pam and John Malnar of Brampton; Stephanie and Dick Pepin of Gladstone; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Magline Jacobs; three brothers-in-law, Henry (Lisa) Jacobs, Bernie (Kathy) Jacobs, Virgil Jacobs; a sister-in-law, Sarah (Mike) Stangel of Manitowoc. He is also survived by Tina's family; his mother-in-law, Lorraine Mankiewicz of Rock; two brothers-in-law, Robert (Ann) Mankiewicz of Rock; James Mankiewicz of Indiana; two sisters-in-law, Bethel (Robert) Wittbrodt of Minnesota; Laurie Haight of Stephenson. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Tina; his parents, his father-in-law, Victor Mankiewicz; a brother-in-law, James Haight.
Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., Green Bay, from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Parish Wake Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Friends may also call at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 1484 Ninth St., Green Bay, from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the church with Rev. Richard Getchel officiating.
Burial will be in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery in Escanaba.
